I knew there was one place to head to for Super Bowl, and that's Bandido's. A big sports bar with lots of TV's. I take my walk down there and get there at 4:30. I'm meeting some friends and want to make sure I get a table.

When I walk up, I find out that you have to have reservations (I didn't last year). Uh oh. But then the manager asks me if I'd be ok with a short table, and I said that would be great. It actually was ok. But I tipped him for getting me the table and 5 minutes later, he swapped it out for a regular table. Awesome!! My friends came in and we relaxed, waiting for the game.

When the game started, we had some patriotic peeps in the place and we stood for the national anthem, hands over hearts. It was awesome! And then we got boisterous! Most of us, I think, were Falcon fans. We were cheering, high 5ing, etc.

We did get some food there. We had the Guacamole, chicken quesadillas, a tuna tartare, and sliced ahi. The fish was good and fresh, prices reasonable. But man, did it get hot in the place. My friend ran out and got us a couple of fans. Whew, what a life saver. You meet people from all over. I knew my Cabo Crew friends would appreciate the Seahawk fan, so I asked him if I could take his picture. He was totally game.

We did some tequila shots and decided to leave after the 3rd quarter because the place was too darned hot. Little did we know that all the action would happen in the fourth quarter. Guess I'm gonna have to watch it on YouTube or something.
We headed over to visit Arturo and did more tequila shots. And then walked to my friends place to check it out. Let's just say that I wasn't walking too straight by the end of the evening...and we'll leave it at that!
Took a cab home and crawled into bed!
