Today was all about staying close to the resort and recharging my batteries. I made myself 2 quesadillas for breakfast...one with carnitas and one with an egg. Along with a half pot of coffee and a beautiful morning...what more could I ask for? I did have to go downstairs and get some leche (milk) for the coffee, but no biggie.
I enjoyed my morning out on the balcony overlooking the pool and the bay. Did a little internet surfing and just relaxing. I did however, wake up with my calves hurting. I will take pictures of the stone steps leading to town so you know what I'm talking about. So I've been stretching and massaging my poor calves. I knew this would happen...it did last time, so I'm not complaining. Just sore...
I decided to go hang out by the pool today and did some swimming and laying out. Brought my Modelo Especial (beer) down along with my towel from Fiji. I've had that towel since 03 and it's still in decent shape...but I digress. It was just nice hanging out with the other guests and enjoying the sun. The thing about this resort is that it's more of an Adult destination. Not to say I haven't seen kids..I have, just not many of them. It's a little out of the way and not much by way of activities...unlike Coral Baja in San Jose del Cabo. Don't get me wrong, I love Coral Baja, but if you are looking for a nice, quiet resort with just you and your significant other, this is the place. Ok...no bashing me because I don't have a significant other. I'm still enjoying myself.
The evening ended with some tacos and a little tequila, lime and orange juice. Nothing special, but still wonderful. Until tomorrow!
